Today we have released an update of the Banana Scrum - v.2.21. It is yet another minor release, bringing one new feature - item copying - and some bug fixes.
From now on it will be possible to copy a backlog item with all of its contents (including tasks and attachments) by simply clicking on the new "Copy this item" item (marked with the red circle below).
![]() A new item will appear immediately next to the copied item, its user story changed to "Copy of:" and then the original item's story. The new item can be then re-named or moved independently of the original item. Item copying feature works on all the views where product backlog items are used - product backlog, sprint and sprint planning.
This release also brings following minor fixes:
- new VAT amount for our Polish clients (23%) due to change in VAT rates,
- remaining work days won’t be visible on the last day of sprint,
- CSV export/import fixes following a problem report from a user,
- added missing error message upon insufficient privileges for given roles,
- fix to prevent the "new backlog item" button to reload the form once it was opened (this wasn't strictly a bug, but was a nuisance if you filled the form in then clicked on the button by mistake),
- fixed payment amount precision in notification e-mails.
We hope you will like this small New Year gift from us. We wish you happy scruming in the New Year 2011!
